I'm the new guy from central Illinois. Smith and Wesson has been a large part of the background of my life. My father trusted his life first to Air Force-issue Airweights, then to a Model 10, Model 60 and later 459 in his career as a police officer. He still has the Model 60 and 459 to defend his home. I have maintained the tradition of keeping a Smith or two in my home, but went with a Model 649 (originally with a lock, but that got remedied) as the firearm I'll carry when Illinois finally passes its much-needed concealed carry law. I also managed to find a Model 28 a couple of years ago to use for USPSA Revolver division. I've got a few questions, but I'm sure most of the answers are already in here. See you around.
