Hi to all S&W owners in the forum... I'm not new to guns as I have purchased my first one in the late 1980's...

But now, I have purchased a new S&W M&P 40c as a carry gun for the future. I reviewed several compact guns and selected the Smith for all of the great features, ergonomics, etc...

I'm still in the 'waiting' process and can't wait to take it to the range next week.

My other handguns are a Sig 226 and a Colt Goldcup Mark IV (45 acp). I haven't shot a compact .40 and am interested with the recoil, guess I'll find out soon.

Phantom69, welcome from North Carolina. After carrying my 40c for over three years I've become quite fond of it. As far as recoil I hardly notice it - it kicks as it should but nothing of concern.
