Welcome, from a point due east of you (in Cochise County). Southeast Arizona has over the years proven (for me, at least) fertile collector's ground. I also seem to find good stuff whenever I visit the Prescott area.

Welcome from Hot 'lanta. My son, who just retired out of DM AFB as the CO of the 47th Fighter Squadron. (A-10's) puts me up here whenever I'm in town. Love it.

How is it to live in AL?

Well, summers are hot and humid, as you might guess. Fresh green chile is hard to come by (major drawback). Hunting seasons are long with liberal bag limits (very good). Cost of living is fairly low. I was born and raised here, my wife is a New Mexico native, so we've always had dual citizenship and have lived both places plus a 6-year stint in Arkansas. I miss the desert and all the open public land in the west but we try to get back out there to visit pretty often, and plan to do more of that when we retire in a couple of years. All of our grandkids are within two hours of us here so that kinda keeps us anchored here now.
