Hi Guys, I've been meaning to do this for some time now. I own a 686-2, I bought new. I cannot remember what year exactly, it was 1987-88. Per the serial number, would someone please tell me what year it was delivered? Thank you very much!

Welcome! Based on the Standard Catalog of S&W, the BAP range of serial numbers, it was 1988.
