Hello from Az. I love Smith & Wesson revolvers and Wilson 45 autos. Have two mountain guns in 45 LC (625-6 in stainless with the sabor tooth firing pin and a 25-13), a 629 classic (5")and a 686+ (4"). In my book Smith & Wesson are the kings of the revolver world. I reload most of what I shoot and love shooting. Anyway, nice to meet all of you, looking foward to learning more about the Smith world.

Sounds like a nice collection you have there...especially that 5" 629. I'm still looking for one of those...IMO a 5" bbl is the perfect balance for revolvers.

I agree, best balance for carry, and speed for shooting when hunting. Have only shot Javalina so far, HAM season for deer is short here in Az, and with the lottery draw for tags can be a bit rough to get drawn, and seems to be about the only way to get drawn...so I may just switch to handgun hunting in general.
