Good day, I am Pat, a retired Canadian Army soldier. I live in the vicinity of Quebec City in North Eastern part of Canada, I am therefore a French Canadian by birth and bilingual.

I owned a S&W 629, which I exchanged lately and currently own a S&W 686 and a S&W 1911. I love S&W, they are great pistols and revolvers. I really enjoy going to the range. My range offer a lot of different set up, all outdoors. Lately it's too cold to go out and shoot, but look forward to spring to go more often. I love to shoot and cleaning the guns as well, I clean them after every shooting session.

I have being shooting for the past 28 years, and still enjoy it every single time.

The laws up here in Canada are strict in regards to firearms, I envy the laws that you have in the United States.

I am looking forward to read and share info on this forum.

Have a great day!

Howdy from South Carolina, and welcome to the forum.

Maybe you can come south to escape the cold, and do a little shooting while your here. Foreign nationals shoot at my gun club often.

I would love to! We went on vacation in Charleston (Isle of Palms) in the past, it's a beautiful place!

Welcome from Tennessee. We actually had 2" of snow few weeks ago, and it stayed on the ground almost all day. 65 degrees a couple of days ago, supposed to be in the 30's & 40's this weekend. Be back in the 60's in a few days. Man, we really have it tough down here. You will enjoy being a member of the Forum.

Welcome from Wisconsin!

I DO NOT envy your gun laws. LOL. We still have some room for improvement, though. Some states still find it hard to follow the 2nd Amendment of our Constitution.

My Mom was born in Regina, Sask. & Grandma, Grandpa, Mom, aunts, uncles came to the States when she was a girl. Legally I might add.

Hi Pat. Welcome from Ottawa. I served 30 and retired from the CAF. I shoot CZ75, 686 and a model 10-5. The 10-5 being my favourite. Cheers.

Welcome from Texas Pat. Great forum for all things S&W, have fun, learn lots, share what you know.

Always grand to have a new member of the S&W family join in from up north.
