Land of gentle breezes? Sand and grit from 3 counties away delivered at gale force, stripping the paint off automobiles! The state where people give directions including "the tree" (probably the only one within 50 or 100 miles so it became a local landmark), the number of cattle guards to cross, and descriptions of a road intersection next to a pasture with a 3-legged cow.
Just having a little fun here, although most of the above is true! Wyoming is a great place to be, except maybe around Jackson Hole with all the limousine liberals working to Californicate another great state.
Yup, them gentle breezes was tippin' a 60' pine tree in the back yard day before yesterday. The root ball was raisn' the lawn up about a foot. The pucker factor was up a wee bit watchin' that with wind gusts of 68 mph.
Cut it down yesterday before it took out either roof of the house or 30 feet of the back fence.
BTW, we have an interesting feature here called "Snirt". Snow don't come straight down here.. We get snow that fell in Rawlins and has blowed to here. It's plumb brown by the time it gits here.
Just one more note. Ol' Iggy would tell you a story 3 diffrn't ways before he'd tell you a lie!!
