I am a long time fan of revolvers and in particular, S&W revolvers. I have tried their semi autos and people who like them caan keep them. But there is something special about S&W revolvers. I do not currently own one, but hope to change that soon. Trying to gather up cash wherever I can. I have had a number of them in the past. And of course over time got rid of them for one reason or another. Normally it was needing money.
But my favorite is a tie. Can't decide which one I prefer. I am a snubby fan, so it is between the 637 and 642. Since it is for carry, I lean to the 42 so some dumb lawyer can't blame me for cocking it and that causing me to shoot some thug. I have heard that has happened. Not sure if it is true. I did see a 442 the other day and was attracted to the bluing. It looked really nice. When I first was wanting a handgun so many years ago, I wanted a model 66 with a 2 1/2" barrel. I loved that gun. But never did buy it. Now they don't make it anymore. Well that is enough for now. I hope to be a positive contributing member of this forum.
