Long time lurker, first time poster. I have been busy reading here and researching.
My interest in Smiths started with the purchase of a pretty nice 5906 that I picked up at a gun show about 2 years ago. After I finally took possession of the gun, I only shot it at the range once. Wished I could have shot it more, but the day after my trip to the range I was involved in a motorcycle accident that nearly took my life. Took me over one and a half years to get back on my feet. I am now back to work and I went and shot again a couple of weeks ago and it felt so good!!!
So, in keeping with my new hobby, I just purchased a nice 6906. Haven't taken possession of it yet. Once I practice and learn to shoot it and the 5906 a little better I am going to take the CCW classes. Probably will carry the 6906, but would love to have a 642/442 someday too for carry.
I also have a WW1 era Colt 38 revolver that I have shot a couple of times. I am better with that one than my Smith.
I will post pics of the three guns after I get the 6906.
