Hello from Humble, TX

I miss visiting your State. I take my daughter every mid July to her SCTP shotgun Nationals at Marengo, OH north of Columbus. I love visiting the Amish towns and eating the restaurants in Berlin. I also loved visiting the Loveland Castle North of Cincinnati. This year was my daughter last year to attend Nationals as she is a senior this year but I am hoping my younger daughter follows through her sister footsteps and does the shotgun competitions.

Welcome to the Smith & Wesson Forum from Central Florida!

Awesome thanks. I still have fond memories of my three month stay in Cocoa Beach, Florida while I was doing my training while a NASA contractor in the late 90's at Cape Canaveral.

Welcome to the forum from the neighboring state of Arkansas.

We tried Houston many years ago. Honestly, it was probably the friendliest place I have lived, but I sure don’t miss the traffic!

We drive through Arkansas on our way to Columbus, OH for the last four years. I really enjoy stopping the small towns like Fouke and Arkadelphia before we hit the Tennessee State. We usually stop at Benton for a night stay when coming back from Ohio.

Hi from Salome, AZ.

LOL. I cannot say I miss your weather at the end of July when me and my family drove through Phoenix and most of HWY 10 to Southern California. 117 degree all afternoon and it was so hot we had to stop at Avondale and wait till the sun sets before we drove again.

The story behind the Loveland Castle is fascinating. I have taken my children and in turn my grandchildren there many times.

And very haunted. Lol. Oh yes we had some strange incidents and I remember seeing a German tourist couple leaving fast. Lol.

Welcome to Texas!!! The town that you live in was named after me… Humble Texas. I’m really modest about it.
