Welcome from the Pine Barrens of Southern New Jersey.
When I took the course for my Utah CFP, getting a CCW case with badge was very much discouraged. The rationale being in possession of a badge could lead to a charge of impersonation of a LEO.
I always counseled my classes (CCW) against it.
Reason: many states it is illegal
Reason #2 as a CCW you are not a lawman and you don't want to be mistaken for one.
Reason #3 concealed means concealed, don't advertise
I don't recommend carrying a badge of any kind unless you're officially allowed to. Concealed is concealed so you wouldn't want advertise by having a badge pinned to your chest. You won't impress any LEO by flashing an unofficial badge to convince him/her that you're allowed to carry. That's what your official issued license/permit is for.
