Hello from new member in TX with new purchase

Hello from Texas, I am happy to say I purchased my first S&W revolver today and am proud to join y'all.

I bought a Model 28-2 Highway Patrolman .357 4" blued. Can someone tell from the serial number when it may have been manufactured and what it might be worth? I am estimating it is about 90% - 95%. I will post pics soon.

Serial number is: S233XXX
