Hey guys, new to smith and Wesson revolvers, but not to firearms. Just purchased a couple j frames, one for the wife, and one for myself as a BUG. The day I picked one up to shoot, I was in love. Have owned larger frame Ruger revolvers for years, and I love the j frame so much I'm now looking to "convert" to larger frame smith revolvers. One look at the 629 with an unfluted cylinder and a shorty barrel made me want to throw all my guns in a dumpster and exclusively carry/shoot it. I'm from NH, the live free or die state, and I live a few miles from the sigsauer plant and training facility/Proshop. Shooting is my hobby that has me by the balls. Hello all. -Chris

This is a great place to learn about S&W. Like you I had Rugers, but no more. S&W's are great. I carry a J frame too.
