Hello Everyone,
My name is Sam and I am currently living in North Carolina. I recently graduated from Western Carolina University with a degree in Criminal Justice.
Currently, I am in between that phase of my life and getting a job in local law enforcement.

For the past 2 and a half years I have been absolutely obsessed with old smith revolvers. While I am only 23 years of age and my budget is very limited at the time, I own 6 revolvers currently.

I have in my collection a m.30-1, pre m.36, m.60 no dash (bobbed), m.10-5, and a m.66 no dash. I also have a model 18 w/ a 6" heavy barrel but it is currently with my grandfather.

I have an unhealthy obsession with old pinned snubs, they just do not make these guns like they used to. I also have a tendency to buy guns from movies and TV shows I love. I am sure you guys can call me out on a few pieces of modern cinema just by my current collection. Let me know if you can!

I joined the forum because it is clear to me that this obsession with old smiths is going to stick with me. I want to surround myself with like-minded folks who possess more knowledge than I do. I know that there is always more to learn about these wonderful living pieces of history and I want to gain more knowledge about the guns I own and others alike.

Please let me know what you guys think of the collection thus-far. I look forward to becoming an active member of this community!
Thanks

Are you still living around Cullowhee? Sure is pretty country up there. I'm down the hill a bit from you, about an hour east of Asheville. very nice collection of shorties you've got started. I'm a big fan of the older, P&R guns, too, have a small collection of magnums from 1967 to 1981. Welcome to the best gun forum on the 'net.
