Hello everyone from New York.I have taken a look at your site and I 'm sure someone could answer this question for me. A year ago my uncle gave me a couple of weapons and filled me in on their history.he just recently passed away and while cleaning out his house I found an S&W 38 caliber revolver with a 2 inch barrel. There wasn't any model # stamped on the weapon. Where it was found, I'm sure he Didn't even know he had it.The serial # on the butt is 46299. Could someone possibly give me the year it was manufactured, Thanks
