My name is Doug Wojtowicz, and I'm a professional author and firearms fan.

I've been a fan of Smith and Wesson since I was a wee lad, and Starsky carried a Model 59 on Starsky and Hutch.

My last outing to do some shooting involved the Smith and Wesson MP45 and a 686 SSR (and a CZ SP01, but don't tell no one). My uncle on the Chicago Police Department (now retired) carried a beautifully polished Smith and Wesson Model 66 and a 649 Bodyguard throughout his career.

I hope to have fun communicating in this forum.
