Hello everyone. I guess I'm the new guy here. I am on several other gun related forums so I'm sure I will see some familiar faces here. On the other forums I go by Geezer but that name must have been taken here.

Welcome Gov't Cheese. I'm new also (rangerat).

I had a high school rock band around 1980 called "Government Cheese". We got our name while arguing with my Father, God rest his soul, about how people were starving right here in our own backyard, to which he replied "anyone who starves in this country is a/an (insert not nice word of your choice)! When asked how he figured, his response was, you guessed it, Government Cheese!

Needless to say, no major record label picked us up. I'm not sure if it was the name or the fact that we just plain stank as rock musicians, or any other type of musicians for that matter.

Anyway, great name and the best of luck!
