I picked up a Shield 9 a few day ago from Sportsman's Warehouse.Went to Range USA this morning and ran 300 rounds through it.Its as accurate as my HK P2000 LEM 9mm.I really have to tip my hat to Smith on this one.Do I think the trigger on the shield is better than other MP`s,yes, can it be better,any trigger can be better depending on the person who posses it.So YES I do think it can.But I am a picky person.
The only concern I have is with placing a full magazine in it,with the slide back.releasing the slide and chambering a round,squeeze the trigger and nothing.Tap,rack, and bang.This happened 6 times out of 300 rounds.These are reloads from a buddy so I will have to blame the rounds unless someone can verify the same happening to them.
All in all its getting an A on its test today.
Waiting on my Garrett Solo now for summer carry in the heat.
