Hi all!
I currently don't have any S&W guns but hope to fix that soon. I have my ccw permit and currently carry a Glock 19 or 26. I would like to add a wheelgun to the stable (not for cc) and am on the prowl for a .357 with a 4" barrel. Not sure which model to get, so hoping I can get some schooling here. :)

Welcome Silverbear. I'm glad to see that you are coming over to the "round" side. To me the K and L frame .357's are the most versatile handguns you can own; a good compromise between weight and power. Most shooters fire many .38 special rounds for each .357 round so beating up the frame or forcing cone is of little consequence. They are a lso of a size that they will function fine for home or truck defense or with the right holster can serve for CHL duty.

Welcome from a fellow Texan silverbear123. Great forum for all things S&W, have fun, learn lots, share what you know.

As has been posted before the K and L frame revolvers are amoung the best around.
