I should have introduced myself before tapping into the vast knowledge of this forum. My apologies. I'm Don and I enjoy old guns. I look forward to more conversations. Thanks again for all the help.

I especially like that you're into old guns. I've hunted the Catskills, western NY and along the Hudson River corridor. I'd love to take a deer with a vintage Savage 99 or an old Remington pump in .35 Remington.

I have reloading dies for 300 Savage, just waiting for a rifle so chambered, to cross paths with me. Dies for the .30-40 Krag are on order and should arrive any day.
