Hello to all the members here. I am new to the forum but not a new firearm enthusiast, more like a returning one after a decade of sabbatical (Grad shcool, marriage & fatherhood). I just purchased a new S&W to add to my small collection this past Monday, so I am very excited about that.

Anyway, looking forward to learning a lot from all of you members here.

Thank you.

Thank you all for such a warm welcome to the forum, it is definetly greatly appreciated.

Howdy neighbor; welcome to The Forum from Bothell. Pleased to meet you and glad to have you aboard.

You aren't kidding about being neighbors, I am located right here in Bothell as well. Any particular range that you goes to regularly ? The one I used to go to and was a member at has been closed for a long time now, it was called Continental Sportsman in Mountlake Terrace. I am hoping to check out two different ranges in the coming week, Wade's in Belleuve and West Coast Armory in Factoria. Do you have opinion on those two or recommendation for other ranges ?

Thanks.

I haven't been to one in Factoria - didn't even know there was one. I try to avoid going anywhere south of Bellevue during the day if I can avoid it - the traffic is abominable no matter what time it is. There's one much closer, in Kenmore. I just wish they had 7 yard target available - it's 25 and 50 only. Not exactly conducive to practice with the snub-nose. Although I guess if can hit it at 25 then 7 should be a piece of cake, right?

Wade's is a little more expensive, but has far better hours available than the non-member at Kenmore. Non-member at Kenmore is Fri, Sat, Sun only. Wade's is 7 days a week, but Saturday the fee goes from $15 to $20. Higher demand means higher price. Like gas in the summer.
