Yes. It has the 6 1/2" barrel and probably shipped around 1906. The stocks are period correct and probably original. You can check for a penciled serial number on the inside of the right-hand panel. If it matches the butt, the stocks came with the gun.

Agree. It checks the boxes for a 1905. Wood grips of the period had sort of a concave surface at the rounded top. The square butt makes it a 1905.

It really makes me respect anyone who was/is a marksman with these sights, but the and trigger and lockup are amazing.

Until later in the 1920s, S&W’s fixed sights left much to be desired.

This gun has both the 5th frame screw - in front of the trigger guard - along with the new design of the cylinder stop, and the new design of the trigger rebound slide. This makes it a 1905 1st change, using collector designations.
