Uh, please don't strip it yourself. Mechanical removal exposes you to dust from the process and stripping leaves you with the dilemma of what to do with the waste product. Then of course, surface prep for refinishing.

For those who did the brownell stripper, what did yall do with the waste and leftover stuff?

Not much help with the finish removal. Only ones I've seen done were on Colt SAA's and they were sent out to a professional service.
