My intro...

We live in Alabama. Moved here about 20 years ago and it's where I retired from the Air Force.

Just a target shooter having fun with one of my many hobbies.

Some friends own a large plot of land (1600 acres) and we shoot clays, steel targets and paper there. It's a hunting property, so we curtail those activities in August and move to a local outdoor range in the fall.

I used to hunt when I was younger. But, over the years I've separated that into two activities that I still enjoy - target shooting and hiking.

I purchased a S&W M&P 9 some time back and really like it. So, I recently bought an M&P 15-22...what a great gun. I'll definitely post some pix in the thread. I have firearms from other makers, but those are for a different forum.

I've looked through some of the threads in here and you guys look like a friendly bunch, so I'll try to fit in and offer my own experiences with S&W products.
