Hello. My name is Mike, but I go by RumRunner. I must confess I have a problem. My M&P collection keeps growing, and I am powerless to stop it. Next on the list is the Bodyguard and a .40c.
I tried a Bodyguard a few days ago. It's a friend's gun. Besides not liking the .380 cartridge in the first place I was prepared to give it a try. I suppose it serves a purpose but the trigger take up is ridiculously long and stiff. I don't know if there's a fix but there's a lot of alternatives out there. The takedown is a PITA too. Shot POA/POI out to 10 yds quite well though.
Hey mike.Jim from maine.I got a couple 40s which I love but bought full size 4.5" 45 and dig that better.got saber 230 gr right now but looking to switch to 185 gr saber for some better hard hitting speed.ive bought 3 in the last three months I get ya but I'm done for a while! Lol
Welcome from TX.
With medication and determination, I've managed to keep my S&Ws to just one Wheel Gun and One pistol.
My Model 19-3 and my Shield. These two, in regular doses, have kept me from sinking further down the rabbit hole.
(I do have a multitude of other brands though too)
Started out with the SD9VE on 8-2-2014. Since then, I have added: M&P 45 FS; M&P 9 FS and just last weekend the SD40VE. No, I'm not done yet, either :-(
Welcome Mike. I have an addiction to archery, I own 5 Mathews bows. I bought my first M&P 6 months ago and now have a shield a pro 9 and a .38 bodyguard. So I think its spreading!
I always say "this is it" I"m satisfied. Then the addiction kicks in when I see the next one "under the glass".......
I don't have the problem when I'm just driving by the LGS, it's when I make the excuse to stop in for, I don't know, some cleaner or something. Then I wander over to the case and its GAME ON!!!
If I have the money in my pocket then I know its gonna be bad, If I got to go home and get it, It's kinda like that 3 day cooling off period. I have a chance then of not going back.
