I'm looking for a new originalk 3913/3914 grip. Looking online I'm not having too much luck. Before anyone says Brownells. I ordered two from them only to find out that the grips are for 4516. I asked for them to check and make sure it fits before they sent me a 3rd grip. The gun tech called a few hours later and told me they dont have the correct part. I need to find a new 3913/3914 grip. MidwayUSA doesnt carry the black 3913 grip, only the gray one, and all the ones on gunbroker are used. Any other reliable sources that people know about? Thanks for the help

Have you tried S&W? That's where I bought replacement grips for my 3rd generation pistols, including one for a 3913.

A while back the grip for the 3913 and 14 had a recall. I don't remember all of the particulars of the recall but maybe yours has been recalled. If it was, S&W will send you a new one to replace the defected one.

I think I have a set in the gun-junk-drawer. Let me check and I'll get back with ya.

If you look on the bottom of the grip, right between the hole for the mainspring plunger and the mag well, there should be a small dimple. That means that the grip is updated to the newer model. Some people had them break when they dropped the pistol with the older version grip.

You could probably tell them you have the older version and, like Maddog said, get a free one.
