Misty 1st Texas Calvary help on the way. (check)

You are the reason I bouight a K-22. Your photos and thoughts about it convinced me I needed one too.

DO NOT - REPEAT - DO NOT Sell any of those guns... Especially the K-22 If you do, I'm fixin' to get a hold of you. And you won't like it.

Seriously........Hang in there... Keep your humor about it. If my wife and I hadn't been able to laugh in our times of trouble....We wouda never have made it.

That's why I figured I would sell 2 or 3 guns. As of now, the only one that has been sold is my Mod. 15-4. I still have the K-22 and my Win. 94/22, as well as my others.

Don't sell no more guns! Especially not a K22 and a 9422/Mag!

Help to Misty on the way from Butler, GA.

Also, everyone note what Misty has said about what the Salvation Army has been doing. Remember them this Christmas, and put an extra five or ten dollar bill in the kettle. Over the years, the only charities to which I have donated (beyond my regular Church tithe) are the Salvation Army and the Southern Baptist Disaster Relief fund. They both do excellent work in situations like this one.

Having been in a flood myself, I can sympathize with her easily. It's no fun at all--all my "memory" stuff was in the basement and underwater and was lost--high school yearbooks, wedding bouquet etc. Ray's guns were rescued, but we missed a couple and ruined a lot of the boxes. A check is coming to help payback the help we had in '81. Thanks, Lee for giving me the opportunity to pay forward!

Wow.

Good folks here, but I already knew that. :D

Thanks to you all.

Sorry I missed the PayPal questions-
It would be far simpler for me to keep the tab straight, and really just as fast, for donors to mail checks or money orders. It takes 3 or 4 days to transfer money from PayPal to the bank.

BUT.............
if that is what you NEED to do, PM me.
We can do that! ;)

For some reason I missed Misty's post {I usually read all hers} she is a fine person and I'll be glad to help her out in time's of trouble so a check will go out in tomorrow's mail.P/S Misty keep your chin up and good luck :)

Thanks for setting up the Paypal method for those of us who tend to overuse it.

You should have mine in a minute or so, just sent it.

Bob

Thank you for the vote of confidence.
Too late now to change the rules.
Checks were mailed with my statement already having been made, so I'll stand by what I said.

Lee,
I agree with labworm. I doubt anyone with a shread of common sense would doubt your integrity. Be that as it may, I do understand that you want to stick by your original plan. All I would like to see is the final amount that was raised. Knowing this bunch, I would guess that it will be more than helpful to a fine forum member and a true Lady who I hope will be back on her feet in no time.

Keep the checks coming folks!
