Ebay sometimes has USA Chucks but be prepared to pay for them.

I remember begging my father for a pair of those. He couldn't understand why I had to have such an expensive pair of tenner shoes. Why weren't the old ones good enough? $3.99 fo a pair of tenner shoes? Was I crazy? By crackee, they better rot off your feet!
(They did!)

There is a place in Glenside, PA called Dimmer's that might have them. I bought a blue plaid pair for delployment back in 94 and came in second in the "Ugliest Chucks" contest. The winner had pink camo!

Chuck's are practically the official shoe of the Submarine force - comfy and easy to stow just about anywhere.

My kids got me a pair for Christmas a few years ago, and I love them to knock around in. They are definitely old school. I'll check and see where they found them. These were made in the US.

I loves my Chucks. "Street Legal Bedroom Slippers". Horrible for your feet but who cares? They have oozed coolness since the 60's.

Converse went bankrupt in 2000 and when Nike bought them they immediately moved the manufacturing off-shore, first to Viet Nam then to China. I own at least a dozen pairs of Chucks, and about half of them are American-Made. The American ones have become "occasion shoes" in order to preserve them.
If you find any, it will be in out of the way Mom & Pop shops in small towns. And rarely at that. Best of luck on your quest.

The last pair of Chuck Taylors I owned were cammo, I wore them for hunting down here in the Florida swamps in the 1980's, great for wading through water. I also wore Liberty cammo bib overalls; back then they were all made in the USA, sorry to say, not anymore.
