I have a top break, 38 S&W CTG, hammer with 3.25 barrel that I'm looking for some info. The only engravings that I see that are on the pistol are attached below. This pistol has a long back story that means a lot to me, and I would love to know as much as possible about it and possibly looking to get it reworked. Thanks, in advanced Jerry

Hi There,

Welcome to the Forum!

What you have is a .38 S&W Center Fire Double Action Fourth Model.
These were made between 1895 and 1909 (SN 322701 to SN 539000)
Revolvers with serial numbers under 382022 are Antiques.

Cheers!
Webb

Now for the million dollar question, who can refurbish it and hopefully bring it back to shooting status?
