Help me find better N-Frame grips

These Herrett cocobolos fit my hand perfectly, and look great. They cost me $39.99 from CDNN Sports. Not always available, but well worth the money. These have the S&W logo on them.
Shown here are the Herretts on my Model 57 no dash:

I have the Hogue for N Frames and open back.

For the round butt N Frame, they make the following rubber grips:

Round to square conversion:
S&W N Round Butt Conversion style Rubber Monogrip [25002] - $24.95 : Hogue Inc., The Best Value In Handgun Grips, Rifle Stocks and Accessories - Bar None!

Round butt compact:
S&W N Round Butt Rubber Monogrip [25000] - $24.95 : Hogue Inc., The Best Value In Handgun Grips, Rifle Stocks and Accessories - Bar None!

Reason I ask, is that I could use an extra set of N Frame Round Butt Compact grips - if the price was right...

I tried several grips on my 2 5/8" PC627 UDR's and 627 Pro, including these:

The 627 Pro had sported the Ahrends 'retro targets' above left - but I found the JM grips, a la my 625JM's OEM grips, was a faster 'grab' - and similar feel to the 625JM. It is still gripped that way. The UDR's finally found a better grip - from the S&W PC Shop:

If you want a more handfilling Hogue rubber monogrip - which encloses the backstrap - consider the OEM grip delivered on .460/.500 Magnum S&W's. It will fit N-frames - witness my 4" 629 below:

It also fits the new Governor:

It's a hand-filler in my medium+ hand - and a recoil absorber, too. Good luck!

Take a look at gripseller on ebay or gunbroker. She sells Ahrends and I think she might have Altamont also. Great price and exceptional service. I've got 2 set this week alone.

I couldn't agree more. I ordered a pair last Saturday afternoon and they were here on Wednesday. Awesome grips and service from Gripseller.

+1 on that. I've got 2 more coming right now. Unbelievable service AND you get to see b4 you buy!

I dont suppose he makes any that are checkered with a closer to factory finish on them and a silver screw does he?

X-Frame fits well

I hated the stock grips that came with my 329NG. Got the X-frame OEM rubber grips from S&W. Fit was perfect and comfort was superior.

factory best fit

Hi....I got the best looking and fitting grip from the factories website and this was for a 1973 M29 too yet!....I have also tried grips from the internet and they look good and are cheap but always need some fitting no matter what the seller says....the only after market grips that come as good as factory cost upwards of $400, with factory @ $78 I didn't go wrong.Cheers!

Badger Grips are the best I've come across.
