I vote for " Rocky and Rex". Those names were chosen for two male dogs I had in a litter from a stray I took in. A tragic end came to both of them. I still like those names.
do NOT name them anything that rhymes with NO. (like Beau for instance)
"Stainz" is a good name as is "Spot" (especially so if the dog so named is a solid color. If I ever get a Basset Hound his name will either be "Johnson" or "Fred". As for your two brothers, I would suggest "Fred" and "Barney".
I love naming dogs
Toby is a great name for a dog! Our own Toby was loyal, obedient, gentle with children, protective of the family, grateful to have been rescued, and a hard-working dog. Not only did he track wounded deer and hold them by barking, but he would fish, standing in the pond very quietly, waiting for the fish to come up to him to check him out, and then grab one and bring it home!
May your own Toby and Jake have long and happy lives with you!
I have 2 black labs we got as pups from a neighbor who couldnt keep them...They are brother and sister and are always together and mostly in trouble, Named the male coaltrain and the female shady...If you have ever had labs you know what great dogs they make after they get over the puppy stage...When they were about 5 months old I started to go with Bill Cosby and change their names to Dammit and Jesus Christ because thats what came to mind first...
