My wife has decided to shoot left handed. I need to find her trusty 4" mod 66 a holster. Wow they don't make left handed revolver holsters. Well, I'm looking for a OWB with a bit of a lean to help with her hips. If the gun is too tight she won't be able to draw it. Her right handed fobus roto works good but they don't make it southpaw.
Any help would be appreciated.

I am left handed and have mostly purchased custom holsters all my life. Safariland makes them in left handed. I have two of them for k frames. There are several custom makers who will make a left handed holster as well. I have several by Milt Sparks. There are a couple of makers that manufacture holsters especially for women. I think that Davis Leather is one of thoee that does. You might inquire with some of the ladies on the forum and see what they prefer.

I'm left handed and look at Kramer Leather he has a holster that deals with the problems associated with women wearing hip holsters. And he makes it in left hand.

Spendy but worth it. Your wife will respect you more when you buy her equipment of the same quality that you wear and use.

You might have good luck finding a used one at the shops. I am left handed and have found a few good holsters for little money. The lefties just sit around. Good luck

Take a look at Lobo Gun Leather. I ordered a holster for my 2" Model 64 from Ray Cory about two weeks ago. His prices for a custom made holster are very good.

Yesterday I received an email from Ray with a photo of the holster he made for me. The photo of the holster was sent for my approval before he requested payment. (I suspect I will have the holster in my hands before the weekend.)

If the holster is as good as the way he deals with a new customer... I think I found myself a holster supplier!

Hi,

Galco, DeSantis, Kraemer are some more manufacturers that have nice holsters for lefty's.

I'm guessing that Don Hume makes left-handed holsters. El Paso Saddlery will, but delivery is often VERRYYY slow.
