Oh, and have only experienced the trigger locking back phenomenon while dryfiring DA. Trigger will return to position after a little fidgeting or a palm rap to the cylinder.
On the earlier j-frames, there are itty-bitty "extractor pins" installed in the cylinder that index into corresponding itty-bitty holes in the back of the extractor star. Evidently that's been re-engineered. Is there some pins or something on the extractor that would index into the "dings"?
Smith & Wesson stopped using the pins around 1994 and went to the square cut extractor star instead.
Square-cut? I disagree, look at the posted photo-- looks like angle-cut to me.
