Help needed with bolt hold open feature

Could use some advise, I bought 3, 10 round magazines and converted then to 25 where it is legal in my state. Had to buy load assist buttons as the ones I bought had none on it. These are the aluminum ones and fit loosely on the magazines. The bolt will not hold open after last shot fired with these magazines but a factory 10 round magazine I own will hold the bolt open every time after last shot fired. Any ideas would be appreciated. I love this gun and want it running flawlessly

Not to appear snarky, BUT, as you live in the US and have access to them at a good price, but some factory made 25rd mags.

True, just didn't want to have wasted my money on the ones I have and was hoping for a quick fix

I know on my gsg-5 22 that the load assist buttons on the magazine are what initiates the bolt to hold open on last shot fired. Not sure what initiates it on the m and p 15 22.

The tab on the back of the follower is what trips the BHO.

Make sure that they are set up properly, as they can be installed upside down and kinda-sorta work, but won't trip the BHO.
