Help replacing my K-38 with a 357

Well, if you're set on selling that K-38, I have no doubt there will be a S&W fan who will be very happy to take it off your hands and help you get closer to buying a .357 magnum.

Thanks for all the advice and recommendations.
The K-38 is in the classifieds now. Let me know if you are interested

Sorry. I should have been more clear. It's in the classified section of this forum.

My two-cents is to keep the K-38 Masterpiece and get an L frame. For repeated shooting with 357 loads, the K frame will need constant re-timing and eventually it will shoot out. That is the reason S&W came up with the L frame. Stay away from the early L frame guns, as they had quite a few problems and were recalled by S&W. I do not know the exact serial numbers, but a call to S&W would answer that. p.s. I know from experience and currently have a performance center L frame.

Thanks JacMac. For some reason I don't love the full underlug on the L frames. I used to have a beauty of a 686. I got rid of it when I picked up my model 28. No regrets there. I still plan on shooting light loads through my model 19. Heavy one can go through my 28. I think my K-38 is redundant.
