Further Reduction:

This is a Model 28 Highway Patrolman (S prefix serial number - dates to 1960)- pinned barrel and recessed cylinder (.357 Magnum & .38 special) with a 6" barrel and Diamond Target Grips. The grips are not serial numbered to this gun but they are the correct error, style and type. They are in pretty descent condition (a few minor blemishes from a speed loader - left panel), fit absolutely perfectly and are otherwise beautiful. The instruction sheet is an excellent copy (not original) and in good shape but does have a piece of scotch tape on it.

This revolver dates to 1960 and is in excellent condition. I would rate it at 97% - 98% and the only bluing wear at all is a very tiny amount at the muzzle. It has a slight cylinder turn line that shows the Revolver has been fired very little. The bluing is all original and in great condition and the front of the cylinder is nice and clean as well. The rear sight has a Factory white outline and the front is the integral ramp style.

This Revolver is all original, has never been modified, monkeyed with or worked on. The side-plate and screws are all in perfect condition as well. It shoots smoothly and perfectly in both single and double action, times perfectly and there are absolutely NO issues at all! I own it about 25 years and have shot exactly 100 rounds of Remington .38 special factory wad cutters through it but from the condition I'd say it was not shot very often even before I bought it.

The price delivered to your FFL from my FFL anywhere in the CONUS is $995 shipping and insurance included. The first "I'll take it" gets it and payment is with a USPS money order. Since I can only post up to 5 photo's here, I am more than happy to furnish more if you ask. Just PM me your email address and I can send them. Ask any questions you might have and I will promptly respond.

PLEASE NOTE: The pictures have reflections in them from the overhead ceiling lights and they reflect on the bluing.

Thanks,
Chief38
