HELP! S&W Bodyguard falling apart...

Hey Boris,

Any word from Smith yet?

Nope, not yet. They received my BG last
week on Wednesday, that's all I know for now.

I think they just do the work and return it with no communication until it shows up back home..

Love mine! Mine actually came with loctite on the screw! So They are aware and They actually send me a new laser/screw when i registered the gun! Use a nice round in here and everything will be fine.

I finally gave up on my KelTec P3AT because of problems never ending. I was unaware that S&W was using MIM parts now. I gave away a Taurus because it broke something or something fell off every trip to the range. Now I'm in the process of ridding myself of all my plastic guns. Replaced the KekTec with an all metal 469. Why own a weapon if your not really sure it will work when needed. Living in the past.
I too would like to hear the results of the repairs. Taurus service is beyond sucky KelTec is great only I needed it too often. I've never sent a S&W back.

I hate to hear of any problems with modern firearms, we're in the year of 2013 for crying out loud. I've put over 500 rounds through my BG380 without a single issue, not one....runs like a sewing machine.

Bought one for the wife, 500 rounds and not one problem to date. She loves this gun. I did pull out the laser screw before fireing, and made sure it hade Loctite on it before the first range trip. Not a bad pocket pistol.

Received my BG back from S&W today.
S&W received it late on the 3rd and it is back to me on the 15th..

Pretty darn good service imo...

Won't be able to get to the range for a few days...

Hey Boris,

That's great news! Any words about the repair? Does it appear to be the same slide? Very interested in this.....

I hear ya! Trying to think of a few good Carry ideas for my wife too. She don't wear belts she's very short.. I know a gun can be carried in just the right size boot with easy access.. I use to carry this way many times.. Any time your gun is not on your person anything can happen with it.. a purse is a wanted item one may just be arming the thief.. I am working this out with my wife too..Not so easy for some women to carry a CCW..George
