Help selecting a bipod

To me its worth it, it has the spring on top too to help with recoil and swivels side to side to a certain degree too

Thanks, I pulled the trigger and ordered the vanguard pro 1 .

Wizard91: I would be curious as to what you think about it. It looks interesting. I use Harris for the bench/ ground of various heights, I have a few? I have tried versa pod( did not work well, too loose ) a Harris look alike, ( wobbled, did not hold it's position) so I have outfitted with Harris, and have been very pleased. Be Safe,

I have often wondered about the philosophy of "that's overkill for a .22". Whether it's optics, iron sights, bipods or anything else, what does the caliber have to do with anything?

Whether one is shooting a .22, a .308 or a 7mm Magnum, the necessity for a clear and precise sight picture and a stable shooting platform are the same.

I've never seen the Vanguard until this thread, but if that's what gives you the platform you need, GO FOR IT! :)

Nice work! You'll love it!

Thanks Viskey, I really like the fact that it comes with the extra adapter so I can put 1 on my cz 452 ultra lux and 1 on my cz 452 FS and mount the pod directly to the rail on my 15-22 and with the quick disconnect it will be like having 3 guns with a bipod on them. I think it will work out good for me.

Ya I do the same with my deer hunting rifle. Swapping is perfect!
