Help with 32. Identifying

Hello I'm 24 years old and I'm new to SW collecting I recently picked up this 32. I don't know much about it and would appreciate any insight paid 600$ because I fell in love if I overpaid o well, it has 5 screws sn 584145
It feels slightly smaller than my model 37
As said above it is a 32 Hand Ejector Improved I frame, and it’s a 1st version. It’s not a pre model 30 but the next model, the model of 1953 New I Frame became the model 30 in 1957.

The 2nd version Improved I frame has a ramp front sight, barrel rib and is 4”.
The 3 1/4” barrel became a 3”.

I really appreciate the history, and I'm very happy to have found this forum website I've had a difficult time prior finding history on SW. I think it's amazing the innovation and craftsmanship that went into these revolvers!

You will enjoy shooting it, and you'll find they are like crakerjacks, you can't have just one. This one is a 30-1, slightly newer than yours.

This one is a 32 Regulation Police. The extension grips cover the round butt and make it into a square butt.

This is a pair of 36 Targets, of slightly different vintage.

This is a pre mod 30, 2" 32.

This one is a 3" Pre Mod 30, 32 HE

You'll find you can't pass one up.
I forgot about the Blued mdl 36 target! I Have the ss 3" target, always loved the Blued one.

I would love to learn to handload 32. Does Lee make a basic hand set up I scored a lee 38.spl one years back and love it
Yes!
Classic hand loader in .32S&W Long.
You can load .32acp, .32s&w short, .32S&W LONG, .32 H&R mag, and .327Federal.
I suggest 5he Lee #2 or #3 manual. You’ll SOON want a hand priming tool, a measure set, and a basic powder scale.
Swaged and cast bullets abound, a pound of powder will load as many as 3500 rds. (Bullseye @2.0gr).
