Well I picked up a used 6906 a few months back. I have spent time shooting and carrying it trying to figure out exactly want I want out of it before throwing any misc. parts at it, with exception to new recoil and mag springs. It does not have night sights which is one thing I really want to get ASAP. It currently wears the Novak white dots.

I was looking at Trijicon and they have the Novak style and then I see they have a different design for the value model 908 where the one for the 908 seems more low profile. I was wondering if anyone had a profile shot of the 908 Trijicon sights on a 6906 or on a 908 so I can get an idea if I like the look better than the Novaks

The next thing I would really like to add to it is a hammer that has a spur on it that would allow manually cocking the trigger a bit easier than it is now. Is there any particular hammer I can get from like a 5906 that I could replac the stock hammer with?

Grips, I have seen the re-profiled grips from Big Dog and have seen the Houge grips, is there anything else out there, like something in micarta or G-10?

I believe the bobbed hammer from a 6906 is interghangeable with the spurred hammer on a 5906. I know of a guy who had a batch of police trade-in 5906s that were all ordered with the bobbed spurless 6906 hammers.

Yeah I had seen that Summit had the 5906's w/ the 6906 hammer on them so I figured that would work.

Now I just need to figure out the sights and grips...
