Help with identification

Welcome. The serial number would place this revolver at shipped in 1912. THe model as known by collectors would be Model 1905, 3rd Change. Looks quite a nice and original 38 Military & Police. Check the distance from the front of the cylinder to the muzzle again as it should be a 4" gun.

In my opinion, the side plate fit and the hammer and trigger indicated a refinish (nickel).

Gary's identification is correct and the stocks appear to be original.

Agree that it has been refinished. I now notice the studs on the left side of the frame are flattened. They should be domed. Trigger might be plated as well, but harder to tell.

The strain screw at the toe of the frame appears a little too proud of the frame, might try and tighten it.
