Hello. I just put my first revolver on layaway. it was an impulse buy, and I neglected to consult the forum, but I was wondering how I did, and if someone could give me an estimate of the year, and if it is a 10 or a 10-? AWP8***
$205.00 out the door with a holster

Thank you sir. If I had to guess, I would put it at about 95% or so. The blueing looks brand new, the grips are in good shape, but ugly in my opinion. There is a little hammer wear. I think I did ok, and I will continue telling myself that.

$205 out the door would be a very good price even without the holster. I'd say you did great. The Model 10 is one gun that should be in everyone's collection.

I bought a 95% 10-8 dec. 31 & I paid $267, plus tax, & thought it was a good deal. in Ga. I have seen them as high as $325

Thank you all. I would like to put some hogue wood grips on it. Am I correct to belive that i should be looking for square butt grips?

Depends if your gun is a square or round butt...I might have something for you.
