Help with model ID!

Apologies in advance for scant info. I have nothing but this one photo and a verbal "it's a 357 magnum" from the possessor of this revolver and no further contact until next week. My only WAG would be a 19 but this is based on my very limited knowledge. I welcome all input and it is much appreciated.
I do know one thing for certain, I like how it looks and would love to have it if it checks out.

Yes, it is a later model 19 (-5 or 6), with aftermarket stocks. Looks to be in very nice condition.

Yes, it's a Model 19. No pinned barrel, so it's post '82. It still has a hammer nose (forged parts), so it's pre 1998. It's a 19-7 from around 1996 if the plastic case is original.

Looks more like 2-1/2" to me...
Measure from the front of the cylinder.
