Hey All! I just picked up some stuff for my 15-22 and have been messing around with the sights.

I bought a cheap "reflex" red dot (This One) and I have the standard iron sights on my gun.... It was an impulse buy while I was out shopping - it was cheaper than the link. Anyways, I like using the irons (I plan on getting the the mbus one at some point), so I want to keep them but also have the red dot.... can you guys help me out with what I need to make that work out the best? I don't know much about co-witness, so I don't know if I am looking for 1/3 or whatever... help?

Depends how you want to use the red dot. 1/3 co witness is where the iron sights are on the lower one third of the red dot scope. I prefer exact co witness where they are in a direct line with each other.

You will need a riser no matter what with that sight to co witness. Im gonna guess a low riser would work. A High riser (.83" or 1") would be way to high for that.

1/2" put my dot (43mm) at the exact level of my factory iron line of sight.
