It's a Spanish copy of a 1903 . . .
Getting the grip safety and the heavy V mainspring back in place is the biggest stumbling block in reassembling the 1903/08 32/380 for most people.
They get to the point of believing it won't easily go back together and start to force things back into position.

Only a ratty 1916 vintage Colt Model 1903 lives here. It appears to be someone's well loved and long time carried pistol. It has a perfect bore and and really gives good function.
