I have been on this forum for quite a while now but don't post much.
Each time I log on, I get the message you have not posted, so ask a question!
What is the meaning of life?


Now I won't get that message for a spell!
 
It's not to pursue the ultimate answer, but to ask the ultimate question. You need a really big computer for that. Don't tell the Vogons though.....
 
Tell woman how pretty and desirable they are. When they come home from shopping, don't ask them how much they spent, ask them how much they saved. You'll be golden.

For me, to be born an American, acquire a good job, a good wife, a good truck, and a good dog...you've got it beat. Of course, these are all blessings from God so we must be thankful for them, and do our best to serve others and strive to leave things better than the way we found them.

Thanks for the replies. Some made me laugh, some are true for me.
My thoughts are to do the best that I can in all things(takes alot of Gods help!), enjoy how blessed I am, and to be a blessing to all that He has allowed to be in my life.
 
Life is nothing but a dash between two dates on a tombstone......read that somewhere.

Any contiguous living system or organism that undergo metabolism, maintain homeostasis, possess a capacity to grow, respond to stimuli, reproduce and, through natural selection, adapt to their environment in successive generations...opps, he asked for meaning not definition, sorry.

At my house right now...it alternates between OOORAH! "those with opposable thumbs must submit to the wills and whims of the felines" or "the acquisition and domination of saxophones"

I kid.

In all seriousness, I believe that God is clear in the general purpose of humanity in scripture and reveals to each individual their own purpose that fits within His big plan when they actively seek it. In other words, the purpose of Life is one thing--my purpose in Life is another, as is yours.
 
Sex, and I don't mean all that frivolous kinky stuff some folks try to pass off as sex. Real sex.
