This hasn't been the best year for all kinds of reasons. We are still here, which is enough to be very grateful for. Anyway, my friend Ed, who is my gun collecting, shooting buddy, Railroad modeler and modeler extraordiaire, former music DJ and oficianado who can make anything with his hands was fine last time I talked to him, but when in church with his wife, starting having hallucinations. Communication hasn't been good and we don't know whether they found any reason for it or not, but after being in the hospital for a week, they transferred him to the Behavioral Health Unit where visiting is very restricted. So PLEASE keep him in mind.
My friend, Jimmy, that lost his wife and simultaneously had a case of Covid wants to get together for lunch this week so he seems to be coping alright.
My BIL and his wife are about done with their cancer treatments and are doing well. They were helping in the kitchen for the Hurricane Helene victims. (They live in Spartanburg so Asheville and the damaged areas are right down the road)
