Here I go again...Post Op

Retired W4 (Tom)

Having had a colon resection in 2015, although not robotically, I can speak to your concern. You seem to be in good hands and I will offer prayers in your behalf since "He" to whom we pray is always in control of our future and is guiding your surgeon's hands. Attitude is important and yours seems to be very good so sign back in after this is all over and let us know that things turned out well and you are good!

Wishing you a speedy recovery from the "procedure". Thought and prayers for a successful outcome.

Surgery went well. The surgical team was EXCELLENT. The folks in the recovery ward...not so much. Came home Thursday for a few weeks of home recovery. Thank you for all the prayers and positive thoughts. I can feel it. :D

Wishing you a quick and successful recoup!

I had a similar surgery years ago. Back then, they would not discharge you from the hospital until you had a bowel movement and defecated. I guess this was for quality control to ensure all was successful.

I had to lie there (with IV's and all) for three days waiting for the trip to the toilet. FINALLY she broke free.

It was a pass or fail test. LOL
