I have worked with hundreds of dentist's (OK not real doc's in some peoples eyes but they still did lots of schooling and are doctors) since 1970 and I have only run into one that was vocal about being anti-gun. Needless to say he didn't like me and I didn't care for him so we went our seperate ways TG.

There are lots of Doc's out there that are pro gun! We just don't hear about it because of the news media. I

Not really a Doc, but back home we have a husband and wife Vet team. They help take care of my beagles all year. And great partners rabbit hunting Dave and Betsy were

A BUNCH of doctors in my area are VERY pro-gun . . . and active hunters and sportsmen too.

One has a trophy room that school kids even go to on school trips. He's taken just about every type of trophy animal possible with a single .270.

Another pair of doctors helped bail out our local shooting club when the former owner of the land we leased decided to sell it out from under the club. Thus the land is now owned by the club.

My anesthesiologist, and family friend is a big hunter, and also owns land around here to hunt on. Him and his son take trips out west each year to hunt elk, as does a fellow medical doctor friend of his.

My orthopedic surgeon is a big hunter too, and grew up in Iowa. Another doctor around here that did surgery on me a few years ago is also an avid hunter. Frankly, most of the doctors I know and use are sportsmen . . . just more things I love about the heart of Georgia region.

Around here, people have very rational acceptance of shooting sports . . . for it is so NORMAL and NATURAL!

Love my dentist - he is a retired Colonel and collects 1911s. Haven't had an appointment in the last few years that doesn't boil down to a gun discussion. My cardiologist wears cowboy boots and always inquires as to what I'm carrying - he hunts, shoots and collects. Guess I'm just lucky.
