Lew Horton, Perfomance Center, Heritage Series McGivern Model 15-9. 38spl, 6" barrel, new model 15-9 frame w/integral frame lug, commemorates Ed McGivern's world speed record in 1934. Plate reads McGivern's records of 5 shots in 2/5 sec., & 5 shots in 9/20 sec, at the Armory in Lewiston, Mt. 6 shot w/Patridge front sight, McGivern Gold Bead, Micrometer rear, round butt frame, period Altamonte fancy checkered grips, color case hardened frame. Speed record sideplate attached just like McGivern's original gun. Shipped in Heritage Series box, manufactured in 2001, product code 170216FC. MSR $1059.00 .
A really great revolver, destined to be a collectable. Considered a sleeper in today's market. I have one in my collection, this one came in a trade. Has been fired, less than 50 rds, but still in 98+ condition. Very slight turn line & evidence of firing on front of cylinder. Sells w/box & docs, buy it to shoot or collect.
